In my apartment, my printer was sitting on one of my tables but it kept getting in the way of our T.V. My dad recommended making a box to put my printer on and still have space to put stuff underneath. I got to work on it with him and it was extremely fun! We went to home depot and got some 1 X 12 X 8 pine and created a box. The wood only cost around $11.
My roommate had made this a few months back and I really wanted one so I finally sat down and made one. A bunch of credit goes to him for making the pigs for me because I am extremely bad at origami and he also showed me how to make the leaves.
Today I went by the goodwill store to pick up some toys. Why? I wanted to take them apart. At the Tech we have a workshop called squishy circuit bending where we open up used toys we find at thrift stores, Salvation Army, etc. and “bend” or short circuit the boards to make different sounds. We do this by using our own hand-made circuit dough which is high in salt to make it extra conductive.
