When we typically eat sushi, we’ll go to our nearby sushi restaurant, order 3 or 4 rolls (around 6-8 pieces per) and then we’re done. There are certain specialty rolls that are just perfect for dinner ! But sometimes we want a little more variety for our meal. This is where revolving sushi comes in. Our favorite place to go is Kura. They have many locations which you can see in their app for Android or Apple. In the app they also list wait times so you can check in remotely as you make your way to the restaurant. You can sign up for their reward program where you earn points each time you dine to redeem for money off your next meal and you can even place an online order.

No Allergy Flowers
If you’re like me and allergic to a lot of things, chances are you’re also allergic to the pollen that comes from flowers. Growing up we couldn’t have beautiful flowers around the house and rarely had them outside. It was a real bummer since a lot of my cousin’s houses had fresh flowers out most of the time when I’d visit. I grew to live with it though, and in college even created a fake flower out of chicken wire and expanding foam for my mom. It worked for the purpose and was a nice centerpiece on our living room table for a while. Fast forward a few years and I attempted to create a butterfly garden in my backyard, which only resulted in one round of living flowers before they all shriveled up and died. I do plan to try again one day though, but that will be a project in itself.
Stitch Day 2021 !
If you don’t already know, today is Stitch day ! My favorite little alien buddy aka Experiment 626 gets a whole day for people to celebrate him. I look forward to this day every year, since I get to wear all my stitch gear and see everyone’s awesome Stitch collections online. My boyfriend and I are major collectors in general but I must admit I have more varieties of collectibles than he does. One of my biggest and forever growing collections is Stitch themed !
Round One Entertainment
I’ve known about Round One since I attended San Jose State University. Thursday afternoons were spent with friends; bowling for hours, eating good food and winning as many stuffed animals as we could. Then I graduated, and San Jose was a drive, but every now and then it was fun to visit. One existed out in Concord as well that my mom, boyfriend and I would visit when going to the Disney Store.
Then one opened in Hayward, which became our go-to spot. It was one of the places we’d frequent before Covid happened. We’d go look around for any new stuffed animals in the claw machines and see if there were new prizes we could redeem our points for in the victory zone. We’d even go bowling occasionally.
Alamere Falls
This hike was probably one of my longer hikes. I was really excited to go because I’ve been wanting to see waterfalls all summer. My friend and I ended up hiking a total of around 13 miles. It would’ve been shorter but we decided to not go back the way we came. The hike itself wasn’t bad and wasn’t very strenuous. There was this really cool sign in the dirt made of rocks that pointed to a different path to take to the falls. We were trying to look up whether it was legitimate but there was no service so we just decided to follow it anyways.
